Beginnning in the Spring of 2013, the Basketball Alberta Mini Clinics program will be replacing the current Basketball Alberta Training Centre (BATC) program.  Our Mini-Clinics program is tailored towards youth development. One of our BA instructors will provide young athletes an opportunity to develop their skills and understand the game of basketball. The emphasis will be placed on playing the game while introducing new skills. Mini-Clinics are suited for youth ages 7 to 11 years old, with very little basketball experience.

April 7, April 14, April 21, April 28, May 5, May 12, 2013
*Please note: Participants should attend a minimum of 4 sessions to benefit from this program.

Location: Saville Community Sports Centre (11610-65 Avenue, Edmonton, AB)

Time: 2:30 - 4:00pm

The BATC program is a training concept designed to begin the developmental process of elite level Albertan basketball players starting from a young age, with the objective to:

  • Improve the individual skills and fitness levels of young athletes.
  • Create a training environment where athletes and coaches are committed to
  • excellence and understand the requirements for success.
  • Improve the quality of basketball players across the province.
