The Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks & Wildlife Foundation (the ASRPWF) provides a variety of programs to enhance activity, improve lifestyles, foster enjoyment of the oudoors, and protect nature. We are supporting legacies for Alberta communities.
ASRPWF does not do this alone. As a non-profit Crown Corporation, they are supported by Alberta Lotteries with many partners including Alberta Tourism, Parks, Recreation and Culture, sport, recreation and active living organizations, communities, businesses, and thousands of volunteers.

Business Relationship with Basketball Alberta:
ASRPWF provides a variety of programs and services to Albertans through its partnership with Basketball Alberta. At the forefront, the ASRPWF currently provides financial and consultative services on an ongoing basis.
Basketball Alberta has been tasked with the responsibility to provide Albertans with opportunities to develop skills and physical fitness through the game of basketball. The ASRPWF and Basketball Alberta partner on a number of program and initiatives including but not limited to the following:
- Grant Funding Projects;
- The Alberta Summer Games;
- Interprovincial Games;
- National Coaching Certification Programs;
- The Percy Page Centre;
- Development Initiatives Program;
- Hosting Program;
- Coaching Development Initiatives.
