Basketball Alberta is proud to present a Men’s Age Group National Team ID Session. Taking place Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the GO Centre in Edmonton, AB, the Age Group National Team ID Session will be conducted by the Men’s Junior National Team Head Coach, Greg Francis.
Players (ages 14 – 17yrs) are invited to attend and participate in a targeted athlete strategic skills, drills, and competitive session. This is an opportunity for all the players to be identified and increase their ranking on the Basketball Alberta Depth Charts.
Basketball Alberta nominates the top athletes in the province to Canada Basketball for tryouts to the Cadet and Junior National Teams. The pathway to National Teams begins with Basketball Alberta.
Coaches are encouraged and welcome to attend this session to observe the skills and drills associated with the Provincial Pathway to the National Program as well as participate in a session debrief with Coach Francis upon the conclusion of the session.
