The Midget Girls played their third game of the tournament against a winless team from BC.  Team Alberta came out on top getting their first win of the tournament by a score of 61-46!  The recipient of the Nothers/Home Run Sports player of the game was Drew Knox of Alberta!  Drew had 13 points to go along with 13 rebounds and seven (7) assists!  Alberta advances to the quarter-finals today (Thursday) against the second place team from Pool B, Team Nova Scotia.

The Juvenile Women also played their third game of the tournament on Wednesday.  In the end it was Team Nova Scotia earning the semi-final birth after defeating Team Alberta 63-56.  Jordan MacLean had 16 points and 11 rebounds as Alberta's top player of the game.  Alberta now moves to the tournament B-side and will play New Brunswick today (Thursday).

The Midget Boys were able to get their first win on Wednesday as they played team PEI.  The final score was 73-65 for Alberta!  Matthew Ellis lead Alberta with 19 points while Yuvraj Hundal and Ryan Morck had 11 points.  The Midget Boys will play Team BC later today.

The Juvenile Men suffered their first loss of the tournament, playing a tough team from Ontario.  Alberta lost 96-56.  Wyatt Cole had 16 points for Alberta with Kyle Peterson scoring nine (9) points of his own.  Next up for the Juvenile Men is Team Manitoba this afternoon.
